Responsibilities:
- Direct tax advisory on complex issues such as merger, demerger, spinoffs, business transfer etc.
- Preparation / review of transaction documentation
- Conducting tax due diligence
- International tax advisory with a specific focus on BEPS, MLI, GAAR, DTAA, domestic tax laws and FEMA/ regulatory issues.
- Direct tax litigation assistance including drafting submissions and briefing senior counsels.
- Carrying out research on varied income-tax issues.
- Preparing deliverable in the form of slide-deck, opinion, note and memo
- Prior knowledge of Direct tax advisory and compliances
- Prior knowledge of Regulatory laws such as FEMA, SEBI, Companies Act, Stamp duty;
Experience:
PQE 0-3 years.
