About YLCC
Your Legal Career Coach (YLCC) is an initiative to create a dedicated platform for lawyers and law students to share information related to legal placements. The aim here is to bridge the gap between NLUs and Non-NLUs, First Generation Lawyers and Second/Third Generation Lawyers, Metro City Students and Remote Students.
Founded by NUJS Kolkata Alumnus, Indian Army JAG Branch Recommended Candidate and ICCC Certified Career Coach Sammanika Rawat, YLCC has a vision to provide all the information related to Career Opportunities for law graduates, at one place. We also provide comprehensive mentorship services at affordable rates. Within just six months of its inception, YLCC has provided Mentorship and Career Coaching services to 1000+ law students and lawyers.

About the Founder
An Internationally Accredited Mediator and an ICCC Certified Career Coach, Sammanika is a young law-graduate who hails from the hills of North India. She has completed her graduation from WB-NUJS, Kolkata and has worked with HSA Advocates as a Banking, Projects, Energy and Infrastructure Lawyer.
She was the only female representative in the Recruitment and Placements Committee (RPC) of her batch for three years. She had first-hand exposure of interacting with all Tier 1 Law Firms’ Partners; Foreign Law Firms’ Partners and In-House lawyers.
She was also the Head of Placements department at Lawsikho – an Indian Edu-tech Startup where she was offered the position of Chief People’s Officer within one year. She is a young, dynamic and enthusiastic person. She has also been Recommended (AIR-12) for the Indian Army JAG Branch (25th Batch).
