Role:
LexpertConsilium is looking for a patent paralegal for Ghaziabad location with about 7-10 years of experience in US and India patent prosecution.
Requirements:
- Candidate should be well versed in preparing ADS, Oath, Track-1 Examination Request, Transmittals, preparing IDS forms, shell responses, filing packages for US and PCT applications.
- Candidate should be well versed in preparing filing packages for Indian Patent Office, file Request for Examination, Form 3, extension of time, preparing petitions to condone delay for filing Proof of Right and Section 8 requirements, filing FER responses, payment of annuities etc.
- Candidate should have an attention to detail and good communication skills. Salary will be commensurate to the knowledge and experience of the candidate.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 7 years experience as a paralegal in a Intellectual Property law firm
- Knowledge of US and India patent prosecution processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Adobe programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Acrobat).
- Applicant must be detail oriented, trainable, motivated, energetic, well organized, technology oriented, and have an eye for detail.
- Ability to handle multiple-tasks and prioritize.
- Ability to organize work flow and use time efficiently.
- Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction, follow up on own initiative.
- Flexibility to adapt to all situations and work varied hours; possibly work weekends or evenings. Available to work overtime, as required.
- Leadership ability, initiative, good communication skills, team player, detail-oriented, ability to implement and carry out policies and procedures, high values regarding customer service, flexibility, positive attitude, and ability to train and develop staff.
