Manager – Legal Operations
Qualification:
- Overall, 7 plus years of relevant experience in contract management, including reviewing, abstraction, redlining, and negotiating sales agreements, NDAs, software license agreements, and other agreements with a minimum of 5 years experience in Team management.
- Experience in CLMs
- Time management- ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple project activities.
- Exposure to tools for legal research, contract management, etc.
- Ability to identify the risks.
- Positive interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative, courteous working relationships with others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Should be results-oriented, self-motivated, and accountable.
- Ability to work as an individual contributor.
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
- Microsoft Office Suite knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct root cause analysis.
- Law graduate with strong academics from a reputed institute recognized by the Bar Council of India.
Responsibilities:
As a Manager, you will strategically lead and manage contract management projects, and the legal ops team working on various projects for multiple clients. You will be accountable for the successful delivery of projects and provide strategic guidance to teams in ways that promote the company culture.
- Manage contract projects involving metadata abstraction, capturing risks and obligations for clients, and reviewing and redlining various contracts.
- Conduct quality checks for team members and generate quality reports.
- Review, finalize, and share the final approach document with the team.
- Communicate proactively with internal teams and clients to ensure all client requirements are met and reports are submitted on time.
- Assist in creating, implementing, and maintaining project workflows and quality control techniques.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time with the promised accuracy.
- Manage and exceed customer expectations.
- Provide subject matter expertise (SME) support to the team.
- Create and maintain reports related to quality, delivery, and closure.
- Focus on accuracy and a first-time-right approach to minimize rework.
- Prepare process and training documents, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and trackers.
- Address team queries and client FAQs.
- Assist clients in designing their contract automation processes.
