Qualifications:
- LLB with excellent credentials.
- Minimum 2-3 years of exposure as an in-house lawyer in any industry (managing contracts reviews and negotiations);
- Experience in drafting, negotiating, vetting, and advising on commercial contracts.
- Proficient in legal drafting with attention to detail. Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional communication (both written and verbal) skills. High proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Candidates who have handled Commercial Contracts would be preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting, vetting, negotiating, and standardizing commercial agreements, vendor agreements, HR agreements, supplier agreements, agreements relating to branding, marketing, NDAs, and all agreements pertaining to the Company.
- Researching and opining on any legal/ compliance matter pertaining to the Company including general corporate matters, changes in the regulatory regime or laws applicable to the Company.
- Collaborating and liaise with clients and internal departments.
- Ensuring implementation of commercial contracts and in-house compliance.
- Understand business priorities and products / solutions and be solution oriented in business discussions.
- Developing strong working partnerships with other key stakeholders across the business (e.g., business teams, finance, marketing and HR).
