About:
The Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy is an independent think tank doing legal research and assisting the government in making better laws. Vidhi is committed to producing legal research of the highest standard with the aim of informing public debate and contributing to improved governance. Vidhi works with Ministries of the Government of India and State Governments, as well as other public institutions, providing research and drafting support at various stages of law-making. Vidhi also conducts and freely disseminates independent research in areas of legal reform which it believes is critical to India’s future.

Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
- Law student currently in the 3rd, 4th or 5th year;
- Excellent presentation skills, and ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders;
- Excellent legal research and writing skills; and
- Excellent communication skills.
Desirable requirements:
- Preference will be given to candidates who have previously interned at Vidhi.
- Working knowledge of Tamil (spoken and written) is desirable.
Responsibilities:
The RA will work as an integral part of the Tamil Nadu Team at Vidhi and will be expected to undertake high-quality research and analysis and provide support to the team.

The RA will also prepare quality reports, research notes and presentations
