Qualifications:
- Willingness to perform all administrative tasks for department personnel
- Ability to read and understand basic components of legal documents
- Strong interpersonal skills a must
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, contract management systems
- Required to perform tasks with a high degree of confidentiality
Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
- Preparation and administration of legal documents under supervision of General Counsel.
- Draft correspondence and other written materials.
- Edit documents and reports for accuracy, format, and organization.
- Manage calendars, including scheduling/arranging meetings, booking meeting rooms, and sending invitations and reminders when needed.
- Organize and maintain legal files.
Legal Operations Support
- Review and interpret contracts, amendments and related documents and prepare and abstracts.
- Work with attorney(s) to ensure timely review and execution of contracts and amendments.
- Maintain the Company’s contract management database and prepare reports.
- Process legal invoices and interface with accounting and outside counsel on payment status
- Assist with litigation discovery requests and responses.
- Respond to internal and external requests for legal information and government inquiries.
- Coordinate and prepare responses to subpoenas and other legal requests.
- Assist in coordination of the Company’s intellectual property portfolio.
- Assist with trademark and other intellectual property matters.
