Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing/IT/telecommunications industry preferred
- Minimum 10+ years working experience in the field of corporate legal work
- Experience in multinational companies is preferred
- Good in cross-department coordination capability and communication skills
- Good in cross-department coordination
- Possess excellent communication skills and ability to influence key stakeholders/leaderships for approvals on legal matters
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting & reviewing of various agreement including Lease agreement, After Sales Services, Showroom, Interior fit out, Distributor, Dealer, Branding, PR, Celebrity endorsement, TV commercial, Outdoor Advertisement, In-shop branding, Vendors, and various other agreements for the Company on routine basis
- Facilitate contract execution, implementation of contract management system, custodian of all original agreement, coordination with other departments/ branches for renewal or termination of the agreements and to ensure compliance under the agreements
- Coordinate with the externals advocates for dispute resolutions including but not limited to commercial, employment, consumer, legal metrology, Civil, criminal matters etc. before the various Courts on behalf of the Company in order to defend the interest of the Company in the best possible way
- Dealing with various notices/claims received from Consumers, statutory authorities, and various other claimants
- Ensuring that statutory compliances for the Company including for manufacturing unit especially with respect to Factories Act, E-waste and Plastic Waste management, legal metrology and over all supporting in Statutory compliances across functions.
- Providing support in the Intellectual Property Rights matters especially on the IPR enforcements and oppositions
- Updating management from time to time for the changes and amendment in various legislations. Conduct legal trainings and compliance awareness programs
