Role:
Blume Ventures is hiring! If you’ve ever wanted to break into VC, here’s your shot. They have internships open across investor relations, event management, and marketing (VC isn’t just investing, it takes a village!). They promise a wholesome workplace that helps you thrive in your role. The following are the roles:
- Company Secretary (CS) trainee, Gandhinagar, Gujarat:
- Details: They have recently established a satellite office for Blume Ventures at GIFT City. In this new function, the candidate will learn how to help set up strong processes and support for VC funds as well as understand portfolio company compliance. Ideal candidates should be between their 2nd and 3rd year of the CS program.
- Investor Relations intern, Mumbai:
- Duration: Six months (extendable)
- Details: Knowledge of the fundamentals of accounting, taxation, finance, and MS Excel is essential. You should be someone who enjoys working with data, conducting analysis, and preparing reports. The intern will get an understanding of how VC fundraising and investor relations work, and will be mentored by the IR team members. The candidate should ideally have a BCom, BBA, or a similar degree.
- Production intern, Mumbai:
- Duration: Four Months
- Details: The candidate will support and execute one of our biggest events “Blume Day 2023.” You should be someone with prior event management experience (festivals or any event) and have good MS-excel and organization skills. Excellent project management skills are a must. The scope of the role includes social media, editorial, venue management, vendor management, production, design, and so on.
- Content Marketing intern, Delhi/Remote:
- Duration: Three Months (extendable)
- Details: The candidate will support Blume’s efforts at becoming a content-first VC. Writing chops are a must. A keen interest in technology and the start-up ecosystem is a plus. Social media is a big part of our content play. Hence, being clued into Twitter and LinkedIn trends will be a key requirement of the role. The role may expand to include duties (in podcast and design projects) that help Blume build its editorial machine.
All roles are full-time and require a minimum commitment of 4 days per week.
