PQE:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
- LLB – with 4 to 7 years of post-qualification experience in corporate/commercial laws and transactional work.
- CS (Company Secretary) is an added advantage.
Skills:
- Proven ability to work in a client-centric, deadline-driven environment.
- Organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects.
- Drafting and negotiation of contracts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficient use of Ms. Office tools.
- Ability to work in a team and nurture younger colleagues.
Experience:
- Good knowledge of corporate and commercial laws like Companies Act, Contract Act, TPA, FEMA, LLP Act, Food laws, drugs and cosmetics related laws, etc.
- Transactional experience in M&A, JV, PE, etc.
- Experience in conducting full-blown legal due diligence, drafting of representations and warranties, disclosure letter, etc.
- Experience in drafting and vetting contracts like SHA, SPA, JVA, SSA, TTA, Escrow Agreements, Vendor Contracts, Assignment Agreements, Financing Agreements, etc.
- Hands-on knowledge of statutory corporate compliances.
- Experience in collaborating with US and EU clients.
