Qualifications:
- LL/B
- 2+ years’ relevant experience.
- Experienced in reviewing, drafting, vetting and negotiating lease deeds, maintenance agreements, letter of intent, amendment agreements, operation and procurement agreements, marketing and CSR contracts.
- Strong skills in Contract Management with good hold on reporting, research, legal administration, analytical skills
- Ability to multi-task and should be Flexible and eager to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Highly organized, eye for detail, diligent and a team player
- Fluency in English language (spoken and written) is essential
- Exemplify creative problem-solving abilities
- Experience in preparing power point presentations and excel sheets
- Updated on latest Laws and changes in Legal and Regulatory framework
- Positive mindset to handle high-volume work and business support
Responsibilities:
Legal Documentation and compliance.
- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and vetting of various tenant related documents/agreements such as service agreements, lease agreements, maintenance agreements, leave and license agreements, settlement agreements, vendor contracts, master services agreements, consulting agreements, marketing agreements etc. and managing related compliances such as registration of the Lease Deeds.
- Drafting of letters, legal notices and their responses.
- Record keeping and ensuring effective management of contracts.
- Assisting in compliances with corporate, employment and other applicable laws.
- Legal Advisory through legal research into business operations of the company and on new laws and/or law applicable to the company. Research in relation to case laws and other legal issues and preparing and presenting case notes on a weekly basis.
- Coordinating with external lawyers in relation to company’s ongoing litigations, arbitrations and keeping, maintaining and updating records of all such litigations, arbitrations etc. in a timely manner.
- Conducting and managing due diligences of properties involving land records.
- Proactively partnering and working with internal departments to improve and scale all aspects of the contract drafting and negotiation process.
